HER story OUR story

  • A four-star recruit and ranked the No. 56 player in the Class of 2014 by espnW and HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings (No. 10 guard, No. 1 from NJ) Isis Young earned roster spots for four NCAA Division I programs during her collegiate career - University of Florida, Syracuse University, Fordham University, and Siena College. While at Syracuse University, she earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in broadcast and digital journalism from S.I. Newhouse School Of Public Communications. At Fordham University, she added a second master's degree to her repertoire, a degree in Media Management from the Gabelli School of Business.

Her sports broadcasting career started while at Syracuse University on the ACC Network, calling Syracuse Men’s and Women’s Soccer and working as a studio analyst for Men’s Basketball, all while fulfilling her duties as a student-athlete on the Women’s Basketball team.

Over the last 5 years, Isis has worked for national networks such as ESPN, NBC, and CBS Sports, calling WNBA and college basketball games nation-wide. Most recently, in November of 2022, she wrote her name into history as the sideline reporter for the first-ever all-women’s college basketball broadcast team on NBC, alongside LaChina Robinson and Zora Stephenson.

In her spare time, Isis enjoys podcasting and hosting her show “The Ice Box,” where she interviews athletes and sports media personalities.

  • In August of 2020, Isis’ lifelong dream of becoming a professional athlete came true after signing a contract to play in Germany. Since then, she has played in Greece and most recently in Australia where she won the 2023 NWBU Player of the Year.

Ice has an innate passion for teaching basketball to the youth in each of the communities she has called home. While playing professional basketball in Germany and Australia, she worked as a skills trainer through the hosting of clinics, camps, and individual training sessions for young athletes. In May of 2023, Ice was named a director with Point Guard College Basketball Camps, a country-wide effort to sponsor five-day basketball experiences - leaning in the classroom and on the court.

  • In June of 2023, Isis officially launched Your World Enterprises, LLC while prioritizing an important personal mission: to pull as she climbs - as she climbs in her own basketball and broadcasting careers, she aims to use her own experiences to educate her clients and empower them to live out their dreams.

Currently, Isis balances being a broadcaster, professional athlete and entrepreneur.
